There’s a certain woman I desire so, who lives in the shadow of my dreams
Appearing only when I feel distant from what is supposedly real, it seems
Her smile blossoms, like a field of roses basking beneath the warming smile of the sun
The tenderness I feel when I gaze upon her beauty, sometimes, is second to none
Strangely though, I swear there are times when I hear her whisper to me, even when I’m awake
Perhaps it’s because my thoughts of her smile, so intense, come alive; this I at-times contemplate
I want her out of my dreams, for I crave more than a glimpse, or the sensation of a single touch
I yearn the warmth of her kiss, locked in her embrace, as I whisper, “I love you so much”
